INVESTIGATION OF CLINICAL EFFICACY OF WHITENING TOOTHPASTE BASED ON SILICON DIOXIDE, CALCIUM PYROPHOSPHATE AND EXTRACTS OF MEDICINAL PLANTS

Subject. Teeth whitening is an actual direction of aesthetic dentistry, since in the life a modern person, oral cavity exposed daily to various dyes due consumption products, resins and harmful substances released during smoking, etc. A study was conducted on properties effectiveness toothpaste with effect based silicon dioxide, calcium pyrophosphates tetracalium, regulating acid-base balance, as well extracts medicinal plants. 
 Objectives. The aim evaluate clinical main means hygiene. Methodology. 40 middle-aged patients without concomitant pathology were examined. All participants used standard toothbrushes this toothpaste, also trained rules personal studied: cleansing, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, desensitizing, deodorizing, remineralizing especially effect. Hygienic (Green–Vermillion index OHI-S), periodontological (PMA SBI indices) indices used, tooth sensitivity (index intensity dental hyperesthesia (IIGZ) Shtorina G.B. (1986)), color characteristics hard tissues Vita scale studied. results evaluated 4 times three visits month. In first visit before after individual hygiene, subsequent – beginning hygiene procedures.
 Results. pronounced cleansing confirmed by positive dynamics hygienic OHI-S. sufficiently high bleaching revealed. desensitive ambiguously nature. There state periodontal tissues, manifested decrease indicators PMA index. According questionnaire, subjects noted long moderate deodorizing paste.
 Conclusion. complex condition meets requirements for product.
